            Are you  tired of things that aren't what they appear? Are you tired of what seems to be a constant occurrence of  being told one thing by someone then to watch them do the exact opposite?  Are you looking for  real answer's to the situation's in your life but are  tired of getting worn out cliché answers?   Good news! The Lord Jesus Christ is REAL and is the REAL source for love, hope, peace, power and joy.   

            At First Assembly we are a church of REAL people.  We are not perfect, nor do we pretend to be perfect, we are just a group of ordinary people who work hard and face the same struggles of everyday life as any other human being.  The difference is that we try to create an environment where we do not have to pretend that every thing is okay or that I have everything figured out. We want to be REAL about our struggles but also about our successes.  The reason we can do this is because:  1. We are all in the same boat.  2. We are overcomer's in our Lord Jesus Christ.             

          So if you are looking for a place to be REAL and find REAL answers, then consider visiting us for our next celebration.  Just bring your REAL self. Wear jeans and cowboy boots or coat and tie, just come and lets become REAL follower's of Christ together.

  • Art is continuous confirmation of iVALUE truths

    The artwork of Ron DiCianni for the Assemblies of God and the iVALUE program were developed separately, but they are made for each other.

  • Bike For The Light embarks on second tour

    Johnny Kelley biked 10,000 miles through 16 states last year to raise money and awareness for Speed the Light. He spoke to more than 75,000 students and raised more than $10,000 and is planning for numbers to be even bigger this year. New tour begins in Dallas, Texas, on March 1, 2010, and will end at National Fine Arts Festival in Detroit, Michigan, this August.

  • HCM commits the month of March to restoring Haiti

    HealthCare Ministries is committing the month of March to getting medical teams into Haiti. HCM hopes to create a long-term presence in the country.

  • Jesus in America

    After being asked to lead the opening prayer for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Pastor Gerry Stoltzfoos was denied because of his refusal to omit Jesus' name from the prayer. Several recent polls express a majority of Christians in America do not consider belief in Jesus a requirement for eternal life. Zollie L. Smith Jr., national director of AG U.S. Missions, says these findings show a need for Christ-centered ministries in the United States.
